Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials. You will work closely with other team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Additionally, must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials. You will work closely with other team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders or invoices, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Sort, label, and store items according to organizational standards and procedures.
- Prepare orders for shipment by assembling, packing, and labeling materials.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles using forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
- Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Assist in conducting periodic stock audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following manufacturer instructions and guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes and improve efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding attendance, punctuality, and conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a warehouse associate or similar role preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery and equipment, i.e., forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order fulfillment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and overtime as needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with inventory management software.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment.
