Position Summary
The Patio Branch Manager is responsible for the full operational, financial, and personnel leadership of the branch. This role oversees Purchasing, Accounting, Inside and Outside Sales and works closely with Operations Management to direct warehouse, transportation, and inventory activities. The Branch Manager is accountable for meeting revenue and margin objectives, maintaining cost controls, ensuring safety compliance, and fostering a high-performance culture that supports business growth and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title:
  • Oversee all branch departments including Purchasing, Accounting, Inside/Outside Sales and Warehouse Operations
  • Collaborate with Warehouse and Operations Managers to manage warehouse, transportation, and inventory teams
  • Review productivity metrics, inventory mix, obsolete products, and inventory control practices
  • Develop, manage, and monitor branch budget, operating expenses, and capital expenditure needs
  • Maintain accurate reporting of revenue, expenses, and operational KPIs
  • Analyze and explain variances related to budget, expenses, pounds sold, and EBITDA
  • Partner with the Credit Department to manage credit holds, adjustments, and customer payment issues
  • Maintain and enforce the Branch Safety Program
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards
  • Lead staffing efforts including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews
  • Manage employee development, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work culture
  • Develop strong relationships with employees and customers to support retention and satisfaction
  • Serve as the branch representative for problem resolution and escalated issues
  • Drive operational efficiency through standardized processes and strategic initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost control, inventory accuracy, and service quality
  • Other duties as assigned, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly duties to be reviewed

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience
Experience/Skills/Abilities Required
  • Strong organizational, planning, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to conduct online research and utilize computer systems effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Resourceful, with strong initiative and ability to leverage internal resources to achieve goals
  • Abilit to work independently on a broad range of projects
  • Strong judgement, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Typical office environment – moderate noise level. This position regularly requires standing, walking; sitting; use hands; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
