Paid Internship - Supply Chain Operations
The Procurement & Supply Chain Intern will work closely with an Executive Supply Chain Officer to support strategic initiatives and core operations across the Supply Chain department, including procurement, transportation, and warehousing.
This internship provides hands-on experience in supply chain operations and strategic project work. The intern will assist with ongoing initiatives, support existing projects, and complete tasks assigned by the Supply Chain Officer to help drive operational improvements.
Internship Program Overview
Our internship program offers an engaging, hands-on learning experience designed to expose students to real-world supply chain operations.
Participants can expect:
A 10-week summer internship (approximately 30 hours per week)
Work conducted on-site at our Lake Worth Corporate Office
Hands-on experience supporting daily supply chain operations and strategic initiatives
Collaboration with industry leaders, supply chain professionals, and distribution center associates
Direct mentorship from a Supply Chain Officer providing guidance throughout the program
Opportunities to contribute to impactful operational and strategic projects
Key Responsibilities
Support procurement, transportation, and warehousing initiatives within the Supply Chain department
Assist in executing and supporting strategic supply chain projects
Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities in supply chain performance
Collaborate with supply chain professionals to support operational initiatives
Assist with documentation, reporting, and project coordination
Complete additional tasks and assignments as directed by the Supply Chain Officer
Examples of Strategic Projects
Interns may assist with or lead projects such as:
Developing data-driven solutions to improve customer service and operational efficiency
Evaluating supplier and vendor performance through automated data capture and analysis
Observing fleet operations and identifying opportunities to improve fleet utilization and customer experience
Assessing supplier risk and implementing automated supplier scorecards
Supporting supply chain process improvements through data analytics and reporting
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Procurement, or a related field
Expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027
Interest in building a career in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Distribution
Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication, listening, and collaboration skills
Self-starter with curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel (advanced Excel skills are a plus)
Ability to build positive working relationships and work effectively under pressure
Additional Requirements
100% on-site internship located at our Lake Worth, FL corporate office
Availability to work 30 hours per week for the full 10-week summer program
