Inside Sales Supervisor
Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Inside Sales Representatives to drive profitable sales growth, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure exceptional service delivery. This role oversees day-to-day sales operations, manages quoting and order workflows, supports training and development, and collaborates with customers to identify needs and grow accounts. The supervisor must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and capable of balancing sales leadership with hands-on customer management. This position will also act as a direct report for a team of Inside Sales Representatives.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, mentor, and develop inside sales representatives
• Plan, delegate, and manage daily workload distribution for the inside sales team
• Maintain sales records, productivity reports, and performance metrics
• Appraise employee performance and recommend promotions or corrective actions
• Address employee concerns, grievances, or performance issues
• Determine sales techniques, call strategies, and best practices for the team
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, written correspondence, and other channels to ensure exceptional service
• Resolve customer issues promptly, professionally, and effectively
• Prepare accurate quotes, bids, and proposals with correct pricing and configuration
• Review and interpret quote documentation and ensure completeness
• Process sales orders and verify order accuracy
• Follow up on sales leads and convert opportunities into sales
• Conduct cold calls and outbound sales efforts to generate new business
• Work closely with operations, purchasing, and leadership to meet customer expectations
• Coordinate with marketing and leadership on sales campaigns, promotions, and special projects
• Maintain accurate sales documentation and internal records
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and approval processes
