Position Overview

Join our team in Charlotte, NC as a Stand-Up Forklift Operator (1st or 2nd Shift). We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious professional to drive our warehouse efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for the seamless movement of materials—from receiving and inspection to final distribution—while collaborating with a high-energy team to meet daily order goals.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for any damages or discrepancies.
  • Material Handling: Operate multi-directional forklifts and warehouse machinery to load/unload trucks and move materials to designated storage areas.
  • Digital Order Fulfillment: Using digital scanning devices (WMS), accurately assemble, pack, and label materials to ensure orders are ready for on-time shipment.
  • Inventory Counts: Perform regular inventory counts and assist in stock audits to maintain 100% accuracy.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace through daily sweeping and debris disposal.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with supervisors and coworkers to optimize warehouse flow and improve overall productivity.

 Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or Forklift Operator (Stand-up experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Ability to safely operate warehouse machinery according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) safely and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
  • Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills for inventory, and excellent time management.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills and a team-player attitude.
  • Background: High School Diploma or equivalent; knowledge of warehouse safety regulations.
