Position Summary The Warehouse Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations during an assigned shift, including employee supervision, workflow management, inventory support, safety compliance, and order fulfillment activities. The role ensures operational efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and adherence to company policies while fostering a safe and positive work environment. This position provides leadership to warehouse team members, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and helps ensure service levels meet customer and operational expectations.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employee may perform other related duties:
Oversee daily warehouse activities during assigned shifts, including receiving, storage, inventory movement, and order fulfillment
Assign work and prioritize tasks to ensure productivity, quality, and timely completion of operational objectives
Monitor workflow and staffing levels to meet customer service and operational requirements
Ensure adherence to established warehouse procedures and company standards
Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees to support performance improvement and career development
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching
Promote accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement
Assist with onboarding and training of new employees
Promote and maintain a safe working environment consistent with company policies and OSHA regulations
Conduct safety meetings and reinforce safe work practices
Monitor inventory movement and replenishment needs to support operational efficiency
Coordinate with purchasing and inventory teams regarding product availability and replenishment requirements
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience/Skills/Abilities Required
Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment
Strong warehouse operations and inventory management experience
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret measurements
Knowledge of EMS products preferred
Must be available to work assigned shifts, including 2nd or 3rd shift as required
Warehouse environment with moderate noise levels
Work Environment/Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and movement throughout the facility Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
