Position Summary:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe execution of all shipping, receiving, and inventory activities. This role leads and develops warehouse staff, establishes and drives performance goals, and ensures operational excellence in order fulfillment. The Warehouse Supervisor promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement while supporting the overall success of the organization.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
Office, fabrication and manufacturing shops – moderate to loud noise level. This position regularly requires standing; walking; sitting; use hands; reaching with hands and arms; and talking and/or hearing. Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds. The position regularly performs duties away from the place of business. Frequent driving is a requirement of the position.

- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Assign, prioritize, and monitor work to ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to drive performance, engagement, and accountability
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure productivity, quality, and service level goals are achieved
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through proper tracking, cycle counts, and replenishment processes
- Oversee ordering and management of shipping and operational supplies to ensure uninterrupted workflow
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and OSHA safety regulations; actively promote a safe working environment
- Conduct regular safety meetings and proactively address potential hazards or concerns
- Perform employee evaluations, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional development initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, resolve issues, and enhance overall operational efficiency
- Lead by example by adhering to safety requirements, including consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Step into hands-on operational tasks as needed to support the team and meet business demands
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees while fostering a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to hold team members accountable in a fair, consistent, and professional manner
- Strong focus on safety awareness and compliance, including knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices
- Ability to drive operational excellence through process improvements, performance management, and efficiency initiatives
- High level of integrity, ownership, and accountability in all aspects of work
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment and effectively manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Hands-on leadership approach with willingness to assist in daily operations as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in basic math and ability to read and interpret measurements (including tape measure)
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and quality standards
- Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems preferred
